Street food, as well as being hugely popular, is an amazing addition to any celebration, with fantastic flavours and some real authenticity going back to the heart of food heritage from around the world. Here is just a sample of what we can do:

B'sarra – a thick soup of broad beans with spice and homemade flatbread

 

Kelewele – sweet plantain, fried in slices, tossed with salt chilli and ginger – like fries only better

 

Bunny chow – a South African origin, lamb curry, rich in flavour, served in a hollowed-out loaf of bread

 

Sfenj – essentially a Moroccan croissant – sweet with a number of toppings and flavoured sugar

 

THE CHEESE TABLE

 

One 6ft table dressed with fruits, 8 different types of cheeses on a hessian base with biscuits, crackers and chutneys

Lanark blue – only available at certain times of the year and is a real showstopper of a blue

 

Époisses de Bourgogne – soft washed rind in brandy depth and flavourful

 

Cave-aged cheddar – mature and hearty

 

Cornish yarg – semi soft with a hint of garlic

 

Tor pyramid – rolled in ash strong goats’ cheese

 

Applewood smoked cheddar – original smoke from Somerset, 

non-chemical smoke
